My name is Patrick Henry Erskine. I am a San Diego native and food Geek. My purpose in life is to connect people through food.

I started my career as a dishwasher at 14, which helped me realize two things: 1) That I love food and 2) I hate washing dishes.

I continued to work in restaurants throughout high school, and then attended the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) In Hyde Park, New York for college. Going to school at the CIA was basically heaven. After graduating, I decided to be adventurous and move to France. No, I didn't know any French – other than your obvious "oui" and "merci." In France, I worked at a Michelin star restaurant, where I got my ass kicked.

After finishing my time in France, I moved back to California. I began working as a sous-chef at a very famous restaurant in La Jolla, San Diego, called Eddie V's. I was the second youngest employee at the restaurant, and was in charge of all but the main management staff.

I worked there for a year, then joined up with a local restaurant group. I helped the group open a public market in Liberty Station Point Loma. While working for them, I started my YouTube channel and began to teach myself everything there is to know about social media. Since I started my channel, I have received great opportunities – like being flown out to New Orleans to cook for a company, and a visit to China and Thailand for consulting.

I'm currently living in San Diego, where I continue to share my passion and unique perspective on food.

I am always interested in collaborating with likeminded people, and you can check out more from me via my socials:
